The Williamson Alumni of Distinction committee is proud to announce its 2024 inductees.  Four graduates will be celebrated at the May 2nd banquet at Young Sommer Winery.  

Daniel Barrett ‘71 is honored for his 39 years of legal work in many roles at various levels. His volunteerism ranges from youth sports to the Laurel House comfort care home.  Michael Herbert ‘73 is acclaimed for his long-standing practice as a dentist as well as his service to the school, library, and community organizations.  Christina William ‘97 is commended for her perseverance as an immigrant to the United States as well as achievements as a doctor of internal medicine since 2009.  Jamie Peters Sonneville is applauded for her success in the areas of agriculture IT and website design. She has also been president of the Williamson Board of Education for six years. 

The May 2 banquet will honor these distinguished alumni at Young Sommer Winery at 6 pm.  There will be hors d’oeuvres before a light supper, during which each alum will be recognized.  Tickets are pre-sale only and may be obtained online at www.alumniofdistinction.com or by calling Kelly Dixon at the Williamson district office: 315.589.9661.  Deadline: April 25!

About The Award

WCS Alumni inspire students and community members every day.  This recognition assembly and evening celebration are meant to honor the many achievements of our Alumni.  Each year, we will seek nominations for the upcoming Alumni of Distinction cohort.
